Caracumbe is an Afro-Peruvian group composed of thirteen dancers and musicians, many former members of the Peru Negro ballet. Director Marcos Napa shares the artistic legacy of his ancestors skillfully and passionately through music and movement that has endured the test of time.

Marcos Napa receives award for his dedication and service to the communities of Jackson Heights and Corona, and the impact of his work in Queens NY!!!

Pachamama Peruvian Arts. Marcos Napa teaches Afro-Peruvian music and dance at Pachamama Peruvian Arts, located at PS 212, Queens. Since January 2004, over 300 children have participated in Pachamama’s free after-school program which features classes in the traditional music and dance of Peru.
